On Saturday Stefano Pioli’s team will host Cagliari in a game from the last 38th round of the league.

After an amazing revival since the restart of the Serie A, AC Milan will try to finish their 2019/20 season in the best way possible – with a win. On Saturday Stefano Pioli’s team will host Cagliari in a game from the last 38th round of the league.

Milan were so good in the last two months that the manager Stefano Pioli recieved an offer for a new contract with the club. Since the COVID-19 pandemic the Rossoneri are undefeated in the Serie A. Thanks to these solid results the former European champions will finish the season 6th in the final standings.

Four wins and one draw – this is how Milan’s current form in the Italian league looks like. The Rossoneri are dominating the majority of their opponents and many times they are doing it with an ease. In their last match Pioli’s boys visited Sampdoria and celebrated a spectacular 4-1 win. Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a brace and made an assist while Calhanoglu and Rafael Leao also scored.

For Cagliari it won’t be easy to stop Milan, but they will be full of confidence after their shocking 2-0 win over Juventus in the previous round. Surely nobody really expected such a result, but it happened. Luca Gagliano opened the score for the Rossoblu, while Giovanni Simeone doubled the hosts’ lead at the end of the first half.

This win didn’t change Cagliari’s position in the standings, though. They are still 13th in the league with 45 points won so far. Cagliari had terrific start of the 2019/20 season, but soon after this their level dropped big way.

We expect Milan to dominate against Cagliari, but be careful with the visitors – they just won against the champion Juventus. This was a big result for them, so let’s see if they can do it again in the last game of the season.
