Manchester City hosts Leicester City in a derby game from the 18th round of the Premier League. This match at the Etihad Stadium promises to be really fun because of these two teams’ style of play.

This is not going to be Manchester City’s season. The reigning champions won’t be defending their title as they are 14 points behind the leader Liverpool now. Guardiola’s team made too many mistakes, so now they will focus on other competition. But of course, they will aim to keep their place in the Top 4 in order to guarantee themselves Champions League football for the next season.

In 17 games played this season Man City already lost four times, which is the main reason why they are on such a distance behind the leader. Clearly there are some problems in the team which the manager is unable to fix at the moment. The Cityzens are not doing well in defense where they don’t have enough depth, which is the reason why Fernandinho is playing like a centre back.

During the week Man City qualified for the next round of the Carabao Cup. The Cityzens visited Oxford City and clinched a 3-1 win. Joao Cancelo and Raheem Sterling twice scored for the trophy holders.

Leicester City are one of the Premier League sensations this season. Right now the Foxes are second in the standings with 39 points, being 4 points ahead of the third Manchester City. Brendan Rodgers’ team have an impressive record of 12 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses in the games played so far.

During the week Leicester City also qualified for the next round of the Carabao Cup. The Foxes had a tough visit to Everton where the game ended with a 2-2 draw. Leicester won with penalties and proceed to the next round.

Because of Manchester City and Leicester City both being technical offensive minded teams, we think their game on Saturday is going to be a brilliant one. And we expect some goals, too.
