Just few days after their Europa League clash against Astana, Manchester United are travelling to London to face West Ham United in a game from the sixth round of the Premier League.

On Thursday the Red Devils played their first European game for the season. United hosted Astana in a game from Europa League and enjoyed a difficult 1-0 win at the Old Trafford. The hero of the night was the youngster Mason Greenwood, who scored the only goal in the game after an assist from Fred. Just as we expected, the manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave playing time to guys like Axel Tuanzebe, Tahith Chong and Mason Greenwood.

In the Premier League Manchester United are currently fourth in the standings with 8 points won, being two points behind the second Manchester City and seven points behind the leader Liverpool. That’s why the Red Devils have to try to win at the London Stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile West Ham are currently 8th in the league with 8 points won. The Hammers lost their first game for the season, but after this they are unbeaten in already four consecutive matches.

In their last game West Ham visited Aston Villa at the Villa Park and won a point after a 0-0 draw. The Hammers could be happy with this, because they played the last 20 minutes with 10 men on the pitch because of Arthur Masuaku’s red card.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has some problems with missing players for the next game. Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Daniel James and Eric Bailly are still having injury problems, which do not allow them to play. The good news for Ole is that against Astana he gave rest to some starters. Meanwhile West Ham’s Manuel Pellegrini can’t use Michail Antonio and Winston Reid.

It won’t be easy for Manchester United against West Ham at the London Stadium, but the Red Devils do not have a choice – they must keep winning if they want to finish in the Top 4.
