Hoffenheim faces Borussia Dortmund at the PreZero Arena in a match from the 4th round of the German Bundesliga.

Hoffenheim approach this match from 6th place in the standings. Hoffe currently have 6 points won in three matches played. One of them is the impressive 4-1 win they achieved against the champions Bayern Munich. For Hoffenheim this is a positive start of the 2020/21 season. Let’s see if they can keep it up.

Before the international break Hoffenheim suffered their first loss for the season, though. Sebastian Hoeness’ boys traveled to Frankfurt to face Eintracht, but suffered a 1-2 defeat. It was Hoffe’s first loss for the campaign.

After finishing second last season Borussia Dortmund are now ready to fight for the title again. Die Borussen won two of their first three matches in the league and they have the same amount of points as their next opponent Hoffenheim. This is why we expect a really competitive game at the PreZero Arena.

Before the break Dortmund won for a second time this season. Lucien Favre’s team hosted Freiburg at the Signal Iduna Park and made a terrific performance for a 4-0 win. The Norwegian star in the making Erling Haaland scored a brace for the hosts while Emre Can and Felix Paaslack also scored their first goals for the season.

Lucien Favre continues to have some problems with injured players before the next game. Thorgan Hazard, Roman Burki, Dan Axel Zagadou and Marcel Schmelzer remain sidelined for Dortmund.

That’s our preview of the Bundesliga game between Hoffenheim and Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. These two teams started the new season in exactly the same way, so it’s hard to pick a favourite here. Hoffe already won against the champion Bayern Munich, so let’s see if they can repeat this performance against Dortmund as well.
